Which ever body part parts of yours that contain fat, is actually containing triglycerides. There are few causes of high triglycerides in the body. One of is the age factor, as you grow older you body will produce more triglycerides and with the unhealthy diets, the amount of triglycerides in your body rose uncontrollable manner.

The usage of certain drugs such as birth control pills, steroids, and diuretics are a known cause of the high triglyceride levels to rise. There are some illness that causes the high level of triglyceride such as diabetes, hypothyroidism, kidney disease and also liver disease. Heredity factor is one of the most common causes of high level of triglyceride.
